Heifers have been at Heartland Bison Ranch, Rugby, ND since the spring of 2017. Bulls have been at Rafter K Bar, Prairie City, SD, since the spring of 2017. Heifers have been on a grass only (range cake used to keep them coming for monitoring purposes) program and the bulls have been through a grass and feed trial with all data collected available in the catalog for each animal. All heifers were worked on January 2, 2018. Bulls were semen tested on January 3, 2018. All animals have been TB and Brucellosis tested and all females are OCV. All animals have a metal ID in addition to ear tags for identification purposes. <b>REGISTRATION:</b> A credit card is required for auction registration to verify the identity of our bidders and to protect the integrity of our bidder's pool. Thank you for your cooperation. If you registered but have not been asked to enter your credit card information YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. The first lot you bid on will prompt you to enter your credit card information. Please bid early to ensure you are completely registered. <b>METHOD OF PAYMENT:</b> Terms of sale are cash, cashier's check or bank money order. Personal checks will be accepted from first time buyers only if accompanied by bank Letter of Credit or with prior approval of the sale management. Bidders using Bradeen Auction's online services must make payment arrangements prior to the auction and must register for bidding prior to the auction. All animals have been TB and Brucellosis tested and all females are OCV. All animals have a metal ID in addition to ear tags for identification purposes. <b>ANNOUNCEMENTS:</b> Announcements made on sale day will take precedence over any printed material in the catalog or any prior advertisements. <b>GUARANTEE: </b>All animals are guaranteed as represented by owners. The DTBA, Auctioneer and Sale Management act only as agents. Any guarantees are strictly between the consignor and the buyer. <b>LIABILITIES:</b> DTBA acts only as agent and will assume NO RESPONSIBILITY in the event of injury or death to an animal or of a discrepancy between the buyer and the consignor. The consignor bears all risk of injury or loss for each buffalo until the Auctioneer announces it is sold. Thereafter the buffalo is the property of the buyer and the buyer thereafter bears all risk of injury or loss. <b>SALE ORDER:</b> Both classes will sell in order of final placement in the classes. Heifers will sell by photo/video only. They will not be run through the sale ring. Bulls will sell live in the sale ring. DTBA reserves the right to remove any animals from the sale that do not meet our specifications prior to sale time. <b>LOAD OUT:</b> A paid in full receipt will be required for load out. All animals must be removed from the sale site by 12:00 noon MST on Monday, February 5. Any animals left after the 12:00 noon, MST deadline may be transported, at the owner's risk and expense, to an off site holding facility until transport arrangements can be made. A yardage fee of $100 per head per day may be applied to animals transported to the holding facility. Online bidders need to make payment and transportation arrangements prior to bidding!! Please be aware that health certificates for many of the animals will expire within a few days of the sale date. Should any further testing be necessary to move your animals, the owner will be solely responsible for costs and arrangements. Animals left on the grounds after the auction on Sunday, February 4 will be left at owner's risk. Every precaution will be taken for the welfare of the buffalo sold. All persons who attend the sale do so at their risk.
